Children's Education
Christ the King Parish expends enormous time, energy and expense leading young people to the faith. The Church expects an equal effort on the part of parents. The living example of parents spells the difference between honest formation in faith and mere formality. Christ the King can only ask the best from parents.

In addition to the weekly/daily sessions in CCD/school, the First Eucharist program includes six sessions on Sunday mornings for parents and second grade students. Student classes are held in Christ the King School; parent sessions take place in Engle hall. On the first Sunday in May, the child receives his/her First Holy Communion with the family.
Children who are to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation are enrolled in sessions held September to December. This includes second graders as well as some older students who have not yet received the Sacrament. The students receive the sacrament of reconciliation for the first time at a communal celebration designed to suit the children and their families. During the celebration each child goes to confession to one of the parish priests.
Sessions for Sophomores are held Sundays, 6:30-8:00 in Engle Hall. A retreat experience and service projects are parts of the program.
