Religious Education at Christ the King Parish

Adult Education
Adult Catechumenate (RCIA)
Through the Adult Catechumenate non-Catholics interested in becoming members of the Roman Catholic Church are introduced to the teachings, worship, customs and organizations of Catholic life. Past participants have found the catechumenate to be very beneficial for deepening their personal faith and acquainting them with the Catholic commuity. Baptized catholics who have not received the sacraments of the Eucharist and/or Confirmation are prepared to receive these sacraments. The developing faith of the participants is celebrated in various rites along the way to mark their growth and commitment to Christ and the Church.

The RCIA at Christ the King takes place September through June on Wednesday evenings, 7:00-8:30 PM in the conference room of Engle Hall. The Sacraments of Initiation are celebrated at the Easter Vigil Mass.

Charismatic Prayer Group
The Prayer Group meets Wednesdays, 7:30-9:00 PM in Engle Hall. On the third Wednesday of each month, they have a Healing Service at 7:00 PM in the Church. Everyone is welcome to attend the weekly meetings and the Healing Service.
