Reconciliation
Individual Rite: Friday: 3:30 PM, 7:00 PM and by appointment
Communal reflection during the Advent & Lenten Seasons (not general absolution).

Baptism
Infants: Last Sunday of the month in conjunction with Mass. Infants are baptized on the faith of their parents. The Church expects parents to clearly understand what they are undertaking and to be ready to assume the responsibility of raising their child in the Catholic faith. Parents are required to participate in two prebaptisimal sessions to ready themselves spiritually. The sessions are held the two Thursdays prior to baptism at 7:00 PM in the Engle Hall.

Children of catechetical age are prepared by the Director of Religious Education and teacher of the student (CKS/CCD). (Because of the uniqueness of each child, an individual pastoral judgement is always made in regard to the readiness of a school age child for Baptism.)

Adults who wish to be Baptized are prepared through the Rite of Christian Initiation - Adults. Sessions are held Wednesdays, 7:00 PM, Sept-June, in the Engle Hall Conference Room.

Confirmation
Current diocesan/parish practice admits high school sophomores as confirmation candidates. They are required, prior to Confirmation, to faithfully participate in the parish catechetical program which includes prayer, Christian doctrine and a service project component.

Adults who have not been confirmed must make arrangements for Confirmation preparation either through RCIA or through classes offered prior to Adult Confirmation on Pentecost in Burlington.

Marriage Preparation
Because of the seriousness of this sacrament, couples are required by diocesan policy to contact the parish at least six months in advance of the wedding. Couples meet with a priest and enroll in a marriage preparation program. The preparation includes sessions with a priest, a focus test and a day long Pre-Cana session which is offered at Christ the King parish in February and August. A special marriage information booklet is available at the rectory.

Annointing of the Sick
The Sacrament of the Sick is celebrated whenever ther is a need and arrangements are made with one of the priests. There is no special preparation that is made for the celebration of the sacrament, except the spiritual preparation of the one who will be annointed.
