The tower spike now sports a shiny copper skin which will, of course, form a verdigris coating with time. The porch is beginning to take shape, while the cross on the west end has been renewed. Internally, a start has been made to the York stone floor just below the new sanctuary steps. The linking corridor between the "cloister" and the sacristy is now lit by three skylights and the slate roof is nearly complete.
