Parish Pastoral Council

Since Vatican II, priests and people have been encouraged to work together in a "common effort to attain fullness in unity". The pastoral council is made up of members of the various groups within the parish, which have some form of pastoral responsibility. This can range from administrative, finance and fabric, to the actual personal contact with our parishioners, such as visiting homes, hospitals, the elderly and all forms of pastoral concern. The primary result of this is that there is a closer link with the parish priest in terms of communication with the work of the various teams when it comes to parochial meetings which take place about three time a year. This in practical terms means that our pastoral team is not just a talking shop but an exchange of information which results in things getting done, needs being met and plans and aspirations being able to take practical form.

Our parish council members are: Kelly Cole, Charles Goldie, Sarah Lee, Di Pohlmann, Victoria Stevenson and Trevor Wells .  

The Council is chaired by Charles Goldie.
