The group is part of Brentwood’s Justice and Peace Group. We concern ourselves with a number of issues, such as homelessness, refugees, prisoners, Third World Debt and the AIDS/HIV epidemic.
At the moment, in all honesty, we are a very small and rather inactive group.
If anyone would like to come forward with ideas or to talk please contact me on 01799 500486 or fsm@sanger.ac.uk . I intend to keep people notified of what is happening on our website.
In the meantime there is a simple way we can all help, by going to the Unicef Hunger site. Every time someone visits their site their advertisers donate money to alleviate World Hunger.
Another way of helping is to use Fairtrade products which are available in Saffron Walden. If you want to find out more about Fairtrade click on the link.
