Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a formal, but flexible, arrangement of giving to the Church. It takes one of the following forms:

weekly sum
monthly direct debit
annual contribution

Since the Church is a registered charity, HM Revenue and Customs will refund to the parish tax already paid by individuals on money given in church collections. So if you are a tax payer it would be of great financial benefit to the parish to make a gift aid declaration.

Simply contact our Parish Gift Aid / Covenant Organiser for further information.

Further information regarding Gift Aid can be found on the HM Revenue &Customs website or from the local tax office where leaflet IR65 Gift Aid will be available.

Gift Aid update for tax year 2006/7.

Thank you to all parishioners who participated in the Gift Aid scheme last year - the parish was able to recover £15,465.48 from HM Revenue and Customs.
