Looking for an additional female candidate to live at Parish House: We are looking for a second female resident to live in the parish house and are interested in hearing from you about potential candidates. Catherine will remain in her current position and, per safety concerns expressed by the Archdiocese, the Parish House will have an additional resident. The resident will have her own bedroom and will share a bathroom with Catherine. Rent and utilities are FREE in exchange for approximately 13 hrs. of in-kind work a week. We are identifying female candidates who can agree to the occupancy conditions that would include a few specific responsibilities, relationship to parish activities, and interactions with staff. Please email Catherine Kirwan-Avila at: kirwanavila@yahoo.com or call her at 413-244-8962 if you have any possible contacts who might be interested in living in the Parish House and in becoming a part of the parish community. We hope to find the right candidate as soon as possible.

All Parish Family Day and Raffle: Our Lady of Lourdes is having a Family Day and Raffle on September 11 from 10am-4pm.  Parishioners from OLOL will sell raffle tickets at St Mary’s after the 9:00 and 11:00 masses.   Prizes are: first prize $500, 2nd prize TV, 3rd prize IPod.  Tickets cost $2 for 1 and 5 for $3.  The Family Day will have lots of fun events, such as moonwalk, face painting, hula hoop, music, food, etc.  See the flyer on the bulletin board for details.  More flyers will be available when OLOL parishioners come.  The Family Day is a great way for St Mary’s, OLOL and St. Thomas people to get to know each other.
