![]() This page is under construction About the St. Anne Parish Website Hello and welcome to the St. Anne Parish website. Here is some background and information on the St. Anne Parish Website. The website was begun through the efforts of a small group of parishioners who first met in March of 2004, and were interested in making a website available to help in the efforts of communication of Parish information and news, availability of Parish Bulletins, calendar of events, and general parish information. The volunteer group consisted of Peter Marek, Gerri McConnell, Steve Anderson, and Ken Haduch. The website is hosted by a Catholic organization, RCNet, whose mission is "To assist Catholic dioceses, parishes, schools and organizations in establishing their presence on the Web, thus helping to strengthen the Catholic Community on the Internet." All of the website design and initial setup was done by the volunteer team, and the on-going maintenance of the site is also done strictly on a voluntary basis. There is no cost to the Parish in any form for the website. The information on the site is provided in coordination with the St. Anne Parish office staff, with special thanks to Deb Rhodes for faithfully providing the bulletin information and updates. The recently added on-line calendar is also maintained through the efforts of the office staff, and is a valuable resource to keep the parishioners up-to-date on the events in the parish. We hope that the website is useful to the parish community. Please provide feedback through the webmaster email link on the right-hand sidebar for difficulties and comments. Apologies for any difficulties viewing the website on browsers other than Internet Explorer Version 6 - due to browser differences, the interpretation of the website presentation data is improperly handled by other browsers. A project to correct that is underway. Welcome to St. Anne's Parish Web Site The "Website Guidelines" are currently under revision. They will be posted here shortly. (A brief but important guideline is given in the next paragraph.) In the meantime, we welcome you to the first release of the St. Anne's Parish website. We hope that you find the web site to be useful. One basic guideline for any stories or pictures to be posted (other than information that is printed in the Parish Bulletin) is that any persons whose names or recognizable pictures are in any material to be posted must give express permission to have the information posted on the website. Any requests to post such information must be accompanied by the consent of the parties that are named or photographed. The "front page" of the website will highlight upcoming events and important information. The calendar pages will be maintained according to the official Parish calendar - please contact the Parish Office for any additions or corrections, or to schedule any events. Much of the content of the Parish Ministry pages was copied from the current printed Parish Directory. The information on those pages will be updated as necessary, and as time permits. The website is designed for the best viewing with Microsoft Internet Explorer, version 6 or later. Please take some time to look around, and please forward any corrections, questions, comments or suggestions to the webmaster. Thank you! The webpage development team |
