To quote the St. Anne Fiftieth Anniversary Publication a few years ago, “Saint Anne Parish has had a rich musical tradition since its founding!”

Adult Choir

Saint Anne enjoys a wonderful Adult Choir! This group of exceptional and dedicated individuals rehearses on Thursday evenings and sings usually at the 10 AM Mass on Sunday and on special feasts throughout the Church Year. In addition, occasional special liturgical Choral Concerts are planned. The season usually begins in mid September and continues right through the Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ in June. New members are always welcome.

Children's Choir

For the fall of 2001, St. Anne is also planning the introduction of a Children's Choir, which will involve children between the ages of nine and fourteen. They will sing about nine times throughout the church year and will be involved in special liturgical celebrations. Anyone with a son or daughter who is interested in joining the Children's Choir should contact the rectory office.

Cantors

Cantors have recently been introduced to Saint Anne Parish to assist the congregation in full and active participation in the liturgy through music.

Any individual who plays a musical instrument is most welcome to contact the rectory office. There are many liturgical opportunities for inclusion of musical instruments.

Lastly, don’t hide those musical lamps under bushels, become involved in your parish and share your gifts for the glory of God! Remember, as St. Augustine said, “Those who sing (or play) pray twice!”
