Littleton Interfaith Thanksgiving Service This is a
Thanksgiving service of Littleton's combined religious congregations.
This year's service will take place at the First Church Unitarian on
Sunday, November 22nd at 7:00 p.m. The Unitarian Church is located at
19 Foster Street (across from the Fire Dept.) in Littleton. Lay
speakers from each of the churches will be sharing their thoughts and
the combined choirs will be singing.
Please join your friends and
neighbors, of whatever spiritual tradition, to celebrate and give
thanks.

- There will be a coffee reception after the weekend Masses on Nov. 28 & 29

Parishioners are encouraged to call the Saint Anne Prayer Chain any time they
have a need that reflects a serious concern affecting
themselves, their families, relatives and friends. All petitions
are treated confidentially and with respect. Serious needs that the
Prayer Chain members pray for include grave illness, surgery, job
loss, family difficulties, injury due to an accident, and death. To
have your special needs prayed for by St. Anne's Prayer Chain, call
the Parish Office at 978-486-4100, or use the email link at the right.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION Grades K-6
NO Classes This Week (Nov 22nd)
Classes will resume Mon Nov 30th, 2009
Fourth Annual Christmas Pageant - Calling all actors,
actresses, readers & carolers for St. Anne's 4th Annual Christmas
Pageant! All children in Grades K-6 are welcome to join. The first
rehearsal is scheduled for Thursday, December 3rd at 4:15 p.m. in the
Church.
This year's pageant will take place during the homily at the 10:00
a.m. Mass on Sunday, December 20th. For more information, call Jackie
Butterfield at 978-486-4100 ext. 20.
ATTENTION: Sacramental preparation for First Penance and First
Eucharist is a two year program. The first year is an introduction
to who God is and Jesus as brother and friend. The learning of basic
prayers, the Sign of the Cross, Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Prayer,
simple Morning Offering and Grace before meals are also introduced and
memorized. Parents must provide a letter that your child has attended
a First Year Program either in another Parish or Parochial School.
Otherwise the child will not be eligible for the second year program
and must start with the first year program.
Parochial School Students in Grade Two:
Children anticipating the reception of First Penance and First
Eucharist this year must register in the Parish Office and Attend
Parent Meetings and retreats and special classes in preparation for
the reception of the Sacraments at St. Anne Parish.

Youth Group

Both the High School and Middle School Youth Groups meet before their respective Religious Education classes.
High School Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
Middle School Monday at 6:00 p.m.
Youth Group leaders and adult helpers are needed. If you would like
to volunteer or would like more information, please contact Bob Panek
at 978-853-9338 or bob_panek@verizon.net. Meetings provide food, fun,
friends, and faith to our teens. Thank you!

Please visit the new website for the Archdiocese of Boston at
www.BostonCatholic.org. The new web site contains all the helpful
information on the previous website and a number of new features,
including a video welcome message from Cardinal Seán, streamlined
navigation, and many new videos and slideshows. Each office, service
and ministry has dedicated space on the site. In some cases,
BostonCatholic.org serves as the main site for an office; in other
cases, it provides basic information and link to a ministry's main
website. Please enjoy this wonderful new website as you learn more
about the Archdiocese and the wider Catholic Church.

Are the rainy days keeping you indoors with some extra time on your hands? Or just looking for something different to pass the time?
Did you know that there are two great Catholic Television viewing
choices available in the Littleton area?
The Archdiocese of Boston has the Boston Catholic Television
channel, 24 hours a day on Comcast Digital cable ch. 268, Verizon
FIOS ch. 296, or on the BCTV website with great programs for all!
The Eternal Word Television Network is available on
local cable channel 56 from midnight until 10:00 a.m., and M-F from
8-9 p.m. and 24/7 on Comcast Digital cable ch. 238 or Verizon FIOS
Ch. 285, DISH Network 261, DIRECTV 370, and on the EWTN
website. (Please note the the cable systems occasionally change
channels for these broadcasts, please consult the listings of your
cable provider!)
Both BCTV and EWTN provide Daily Mass broadcasts, as well as
many other informative, enriching and entertaining programs to help
develop knowledge of your faith.
