Hey kids (and older "kids", too!) Tired of listening to the same old
rock 'n' roll? How about trying out some entertaining and informative
podcast programming with a Catholic twist? There are two great
websites with Catholic podcast content available completely free of
charge!
The Star Quest Production Network offers a host of
Catholic programming from "Praystation Portable", which features the
daily Morning and Evening Liturgy of the Hours (the official prayer of
the Church), to "The Daily Breakfast", produced by a Dutch priest who
covers a wide variety of topics from technology to entertainment to
the Catholic Church, and many more programs to choose from.
EWTN also has a podcast page featuring the Daily Mass readings and
homilies, audio recordings of their nightly live shows, as well as a
monthly audio series of some of their past programming, covering
topics as diverse as prayer, the Bible, lives of the Saints, church
history, and many other topics. Click on this link and be informed, enriched, and
entertained!
Note: Most of the programming is easily accessible through the
"iTunes" application, which is available free of charge, and the
content of these Catholic providers is available free of charge.
Check it out!
