You can participate more fully!
We have a great drop-in center called GENERATIONS. The center is open every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon from 2 o'clock until 6 o'clock.
Generations is located in the basement of St. Barbara's Rectory, 138 Cambridge Road. There is a direct entrance from the parking lot in the rear of the building.
Some of the features are:
- Pocket Pool Table
- Ping-Pong
- Foosball
- Air Hockey
- TV, VCR, DVD, Stereo, Player Piano
- Computers
- Free tutoring in any subject by volunteer teachers
- Good company/companionship
- Community service points available.

My name is Ann Cronin. I am the Youth Coordinator (or Youth Minister) for St Barbara's Parish. To fulfill a very important function of my position, I am offering to our youth a “safe place to SOUND OFF.” If you want to leave me a message, click HERE!
Any adults 18 years-of-age or older, willing to help plan and/or chaperone activities and events for the youth, please contact me at annjc@rcn.com
Remember, there are many areas where you can be of assistance in the church and become an active and vital member. You can volunteer for:
- Lector
- Religious Education Teacher
- Eucharistic Minister
- Choir
- Assisting in youth group activities
