FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK

Jesus is praying with his friends on the night he will be betrayed, arrested and finally put to death. In these intimate moments he asks his Father, and ours, to that he may enter into his glory. This is His hour, but before the glory comes the death by crucifixion. Jesus will return to his Father, but his friends, his apostles, his missionaries, must remain in this world until he returns again. And so must we. Jesus will not take us out of the world until our hour of glory. So we take up our cross, this is our hour, and follow him, trying to put into effect in our lives his way of life. Being a Christian is not just having knowledge- the message, but, as the expression goes, being pro-active, living it.

Sincerely yours in Christ,
FATHER VIN
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE PARISH SO FAITHFULLY AND WE ARE MOST GRATEFUL TO OUR PARISHIONERS WHO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO INCREASE THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS.
