Jesus meets the need of each disciple. To the fearful in the upper room, He speaks words of peace. To doubting Thomas, He provides the tangible proof of His resurrection. What do I need to become His disciple? What do I have to share that might meet someone else’s need?

WE TIP OUR EASTER BONNETS

and offer a heartfelt “THANKS” to all the many parishioners who helped in so many ways this Easter season…
those who donated flowers to beautify our altars; volunteers who through the C-A-L-M Program, delivered plants to homebound parishioners in time for the Easter celebration. We would also like to mention other Parish Family members – our Altar Society, teachers and helpers in the PREP and YOUTH MINISTRY programs, Altar Servers, Eucharistic Ministers, Ushers, Ministers of Care, Lectors, Senior Choir, under the direction of Dave Cronin, our Organist John Donovan, Funeral Acolytes; our groundskeepers, our custodian, Jim Power, and all the many, many parishioners who help keep our Parish active and busy…
Sincere thanks & gratitude for all you do, the whole year through!

LATIN MASS TO BE CELEBRATED REGULARLY

FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK

We are still in the joy of Easter. The resurrection of Jesus was the most astounding event in the life of Israel. No miracles of Moses could equal it. Who had ever risen from the dead? Who had ever come back from the grave, in human flesh, to prove there is life beyond? He was no spirit but a human being, though divine, now risen and glorified. Not only did Jesus come back from the grave but He promises us life after life for all those who believe and follow Him. How can we believe in someone who has risen if we have not seen him, if we have not touched his wounds? Good question. Jesus sent someone else to help us to believe without seeing, and that person is the Holy Spirit. He dwells with us, he is our life-line to the risen Christ. It is the Spirit who consecrates the bread as the body of Christ and the wine as His blood, and so we are in communion with the risen Christ when we receive His body and blood in the Eucharist.

Sincerely yours in Christ,
FATHER VIN
