FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
Jesus is on the mountain of transfiguration. The three disciples who see Jesus in His majesty will soon see Him in His agony in the garden. Moses and Elijah surround Him and God speaks: “This is my beloved Son. Listen to
Him.” It means more than just hearing the words He speaks, but living the message. What is the message? The cross, the way of glory and suffering, power and weakness, death and resurrection, these are the realities of being human and following Jesus. Like the Apostles we continue the journey behind the servant of God. Though He suffers and dies, the glory of Easter will overshadow any fear, doubt and anxiety that Good Friday may bring.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
FATHER VIN
