The church will be open December 22/23/24 to receive your donations.

LITURGICAL PUBLICATIONS

our bulletin publisher will have a sales representative, Mr. Mark Brennan, available this week for those interested in placing a new ad. We would like to thank our present advertisers for renewing their ads. Keep in mind, our advertising sponsors make this publication possible.

FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK

God had a plan for the redemption of the world. John came as his advertiser, preaching and baptizing. It was not what the people expected. No great signs in the heavens, no thunderbolts proving God’s existence. John was the sign; he gave a call, a call to turn from selfishness and sin to God. The renewal began with each individual. God would do nothing without the cooperation of those who needed His redemption. There was not an option about it. It was not maybe, not an either or decision. Nor is it today. The choice is ours, we either want Him or we don’t. And the only way to have Him enter in our life is to repent – recognize our imperfections and believe the Good News. This is not just for Advent, but an every day opening of our hearts to the Spirit of Jesus.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
FATHER VIN
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE PARISH SO FAITHFULLY AND WE ARE MOST GRATEFUL TO OUR PARISHIONERS WHO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO INCREASE THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS.
