FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK

Jesus ascends or returns to His Father, from whom He came. In the Father’s astronomical plan He sent His son in the flesh to lead us back to God. Jesus came as God’s representative and witness. Jesus “learned obedience from what He suffered”. He had a human will and a human intellect and a human nature as you and I do. He was free to say “No,” to God’s plan. But He did not. “He could have sinned, but did not.” Thus, through the bitter and the sweet, he pleased God ultimately by doing everything God asked Him to do, even to the point of dying on a cross. He was raised from the dead and, in His human flesh, is one with the Father for all eternity. He never gave up His human nature and still retains a human body. He is our Brother who is also Lord and He goes to prepare a place for us that where He is we also may be.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
FATHER VIN
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE PARISH SO FAITHFULLY AND WE ARE MOST GRATEFUL TO OUR PARISHIONERS WHO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO INCREASE THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS.
