BABY BOTTLE FUNDRAISER FOR LIFE
St. Barbara’s Pro-Life Ministry will distribute baby bottles (one per interested family) after all the Masses next weekend (Oct. 28 & 29). During the month of November, we ask you to place a “Gift for Life” in the bottle in the form of a check (made out to “Heartbeat” or “Friends of the Unborn”, cash or coins. Return the bottle to the container in front of the St. Joseph side altar at any of the weekend Masses on Nov. 25 & 26th, or to the rectory soon afterwards. See the paper in the bottle for information on how this “Gift for Life” can be offered to honor a loved one.
FOOD COLLECTION

We ask you to be especially generous with your donations as they will begin preparing to distribute canned goods and other items for the Thanksgiving baskets. FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
The blind man wants to see. He knows that Jesus can heal him. He is scolded for crying out to Jesus, when Jesus walks by. He is not afraid of the crowd, nor does he care what people are saying. He wants to see and no one can stop him from getting a miracle. Jesus calls him over, and he was so excited he “threw aside his cloak, jumped up and came to Jesus.” “What do you want me to do for you?” As if Jesus did not know. He wanted to hear his request. “I want to see.” He did see even when he was blind, but now he sees with his eyes. When we walk in faith we do not walk in the dark, not in blindness. We walk in His light.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
FATHER VIN
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE PARISH SO FAITHFULLY AND WE ARE MOST GRATEFUL TO OUR PARISHIONERS WHO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO INCREASE THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS.
