ENTRANCE EXAMS
The placement test for students who are planning to attend a Catholic High School next year is scheduled for November 18th and again on December 9th.
FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK
This gospel always reminds me of ecumenism, when other than Roman Catholics gather to worship God. John is disturbed. Someone is expelling demons using Jesus’ name, but he is not a disciple of Jesus. The twelve do not like him interfering in their business. Jesus is not disturbed by it at all. No one church has a monopoly on the Spirit. Elitism, provincialism works against the Spirit. The church is not exclusive but inclusive. Any minister preaching or healing in the name of Jesus is our friend, not our enemy. We should be grateful that Jesus is being exalted and praised. We work together, not against one another. Their success is ours. We cannot despise or discount anyone who is a believer and tries to live according to their beliefs and their conscience.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
FATHER VIN
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE PARISH SO FAITHFULLY AND WE ARE MOST GRATEFUL TO OUR PARISHIONERS WHO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO INCREASE THEIR CONTRIBUTIONS.
