Advent - Good Deeds Gesture for Our Lord

=======================================================================================================================
Every Advent, we prepare our hearts and homes for the coming of the Lord. This year, we invite our young parishioners

to do both while helping to prepare our parish manager scene. On the First Sunday of Advent, pick up a supply of hay for

 your household. Parents, for each good deed that your child performs, please place aside a piece of hay. Keep these good

deed pieces of hay safely and on the Fourth Sunday of Advent, bring them to Mass with you. We are going ot use all our

good deeds to make a soft manger for our Lord to lie in during Christmas.

RCIA TO BEGIN ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH @ 6:30pm

=======================================================================================================================
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a journey toward becoming a full, participating member of the Catholic

Church. This modern rite was restored in the late 1970s, in the wake of the Second Vatican Council, but it is based on the

ancient "Order of Catechumens," which dates to the very earliest years of the church's history. RCIA can be described as a

faith formation process designed primarily for adults who have not been baptized in any faith and are seeking God in their

lives. Additionally, it is for those baptized in other faiths, as well as those baptized Catholics, who never completed their

Sacraments of Initiation, Confirmation, Confession, or Communion. To register for the classes, please call 617.567.5776.
