St. Philip Women's Group

Where love and charity is, there is God.

The mission of the St. Philip Women’s Group is to enrich the faith of all women parishioners through Catholic formation and education and to serve God and the parish community through prayer and good works.  Through the Women’s Group, we hope to create a place where supportive friendships are formed and women are uplifted.  Most importantly we seek to bring all women to a personal knowledge and experience of God’s love as given to us through His Son, Jesus Christ.  We seek to be a source of prayer and support for our sisters in Christ, especially when they are struggling.

§ §         Meetings are held the second Friday of each month at 9:30 a.m. and the third or fourth Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m.  Childcare is provided at the Friday meetings.

§ §        The Elizabeth Ministry provides meals for registered parishioners of St. Philip’s who have a baby through birth or adoption.  The Prayer through Pregnancy program, part of the Elizabeth Ministry, signs up pregnant parishioners who would like someone from the parish to pray for her during her pregnancy.

§ §         The Women’s Group hosts a Donut Social after Mass on the second Sunday of each month.

§ §        Cards for Encouragement sends cards to individuals on the parish sick list.

§ §         Helping Hands ministry prepares meals to be served after funerals.

§ §         Praying the rosary at abortion clinics and making rosaries.
