Liturgy Committee

This committee prepares and coordinates liturgies for the parish. The committee is comprised of representatives from the various liturgical ministries serving the parish.

Altar Guild

This group cares for the altar linens and sacred vessels used at Mass, and keeps the sacristy and sanctuary clean and in order.

Altar Servers

Altar servers assist in the celebration of the Mass. Boys and girls in grades 5 through 12 are invited to become altar servers.

Children's Liturgy of the Word

Each Sunday during the 11:00 a.m. Mass, children (ages 3-8) are invited to gather in the chapel for a celebration of the Word geared to their level of understanding.

Church Art and Environment

This group helps create an atmosphere of beauty and reverence by decorating and preparing the altar and church for the liturgical seasons, as well as for individual Sundays and feasts.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion assist with the distribution of the Eucharist at parish Masses. They also take the Eucharist to those in the parish who are homebound or in the hospital. Upon recommendation of the pastor, ministers are appointed by the bishop to serve for a three year term.

Lectors

Lectors proclaim the Word of God during parish liturgies. Training sessions are provided.

Ushers

Ushers serve as ministers of hospitality, greeting those who gather, helping with the seating of the congregation, taking up the collection, and helping create an atmosphere of Christian welcoming.
