Each year Graduates are always welcomed back to visit with us or to become Staff Assistants on the Youth Ministery Team. This year we had Kate & Tom visit with us for the Christmas Party. Jason is a regular Staff Assistant while he is attending NOVA. Kate Holsinger is a freshman attending Marquette Univ. in Milwaukee Wis. and Tom is attending VATech, a senior in Electrical Enginering ( don't know where he got the Georgetown Teeshirt?)

Jonathan's friends from his missionary days, shared their experiences with the Youth group. We were lucky to have them for a little while giving witness to the Gifts of the Spirit. Pictured below.

American family who lived in South America.

This year the Youth Ministry traveled to Clifton, VA for a weekend of seeking Christ in Team Building and a sense of Community. Although cold and raining, a brave band of teenagers set out on the Team Development Course at Hemlock Overlook Regional Park.. Our group of 12 inlcuded 9 guys and 3 gals who completed the course with a new found sense of self and team work. George Mason University students staffed the TDC activity as well as providing all our meals in the Mess Hall.

The teens continued on with their spiritual journey which now includes the ability to see themseleves as created in His likeness, to appreciate God in their relationships with others, the Saints and what Jesus did for us all on the Cross. They also shared their thoughts on how the Youth Ministry could help realize a sense of accomplishment in meeting milestones while on their journey toward a closer, more meaingful relationship with Christ.
