All the sacraments of our Catholic life should be received in a Christian spirit. The Parish, therefore, offers programs of preparation leading to the celebration of the Sacraments for our registered parishioners.
Child BAPTISM preparation can begin any time prior to a month before the sacrament, whether celebrated during mass or simple ceremony. Adult BAPTISM journeys through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (R.C.I.A.)
First RECONCILLIATION, First EUCHARIST, and CONFIRMATION are handled through the Parish Religious Education program.
MATRIMONY, by Diocesan guideline, requires a six-month preparation of personal instruction and diocesan retreat.
Those chosen to be sponsors at Baptism, Confirmation, or Matrimony should begin preparations immediately upon being asked. Registered parishioners needing any of these preparations should call the office to make contact with the priest or appropriate M.R.E.
