Hi Everyone,


Our community, Retrouvaille of Northern Virginia, will be hosting a Writing to Heal Day on Saturday, January 31st at Saint Ambrose School in Annandale, Virginia. 


The purpose of this day is for you to work on your marriage and discover the healing power of writing.  We would personally like to invite and strongly encourage you to attend this Writing to Heal Day.  When we made our Retrouvaille weekend ten years ago, we had no idea of the impact that dialoguing and, in particular, writing would have on our marriage.  The growth and healing that we have experienced has truly been remarkable.


We ask you to consider writing for yourselves, not necessarily to become presenters, but to continue the progress and growth that you began on your Retrouvaille weekend.

Purpose and Goals

-          Promote personal and couple healing through deeper exploration of our stories along with a deeper understanding of the Retrouvaille program.

-          Provide an environment for spiritual growth

-          Experience the healing power of our unique story.


We will help couples to begin to write their personal introductions.  Couples who are continuing to work on personal introductions, post presentations, or weekend talks will have an opportunity to write and assistance as well.  Even if you are not able to come for the entire day, please come for that portion that you are able to attend.


Please bring your dialogue notebooks for dialogue questions and laptops for working on your talks.

Directions: Take the Beltway to the 236 Little River Turnpike exit going west toward Fairfax.  Stay on 236, past Northern Va. Community College and make a right onto Woodburn Road.  Go down Woodburn past the police station on your right, and make another right onto Woodburn Road.  The church and school are almost immediately on your right after you make the 2nd right.  The school is to the left of the church- 3901 Woodburn Rd.
