Spring 2013 Schedule
Monday
Night Bible Study is held in the Church Library after 7PM adoration. All are
welcome. \
Having
completed our study of 1 Thessalonians, we continue our journey through the
letters of Paul in chronological order with 2 Thessalonians. Written about AD 51 shortly after 1 Thessalonians,
this is the second “book” of the new Testament. Together with 1 Thessalonians, they form a
powerful witness to the early Church’s struggles with the suffering of its
members.
On May 6,
we will study chapters 1 and 2 of Second Thessalonians.
You might want to
have the following books but they are available in the library in multiple
copies.
A Bible
A Dictionary
A Catechism of the Catholic Church
A biblical
commentary, preferably a good Catholic one.
Light refreshments will be served.
