Starting with the clearing of the ground on July, 1891,
the original church was built within a six month period. The photo was taken after the addition of the side chapels.
It was identified by an unknown photographer as "Hungarian Roman Catholic Church Lansford, PA-
November 1902." Slovakia was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire at the time this picture was taken.
No photographs of the interior are known to exist.
