Seldom seen view of St. Michael Church taken from the Hauto Mountain. Towering 169 ft in height, it is easy to see why it is one of Lansford's most prominent landmarks.

To the left of the Church is the Rectory; behind the Rectory is the school. On September 21, 1905, a contract was awarded to erect the red brick Indiana limestone buildings. The bid for the structure, exclusive of heating, was $20,925. A large gathering of parishioners and visitors assembled on Sunday, July 1, 1906, when the cornerstone of the school was laid.
