  • Reasons for Thanksgiving and Celebration
Did you know that there are 18 different types of service involved in one St. Vincent's Sunday liturgy ... from bread baker to petition writer to Eucharistic minister to acolyte? As we consider new roles and new ways of service in this year of celebration and renewal, it's cause for thanksgiving to reflect on the helping hands already at work sustaining our parish community. The parish employs 20 dedicated individuals (full or part-time) who help run the parish on a daily basis. Did you know we have five main committees and many more support groups?  St. Vincent's abundance of activities and programs is made possible by the participation of more than 400 volunteers throughout our parish community.
Small group discussions have been launched to help us plan for the parish's future, one that will not include a resident pastor, but will include priests to celebrate Mass and a parish life director to handle many parish responsibilities. Your leaders on the parish council give
thanks for the many individuals who make our church such a vibrant place to worship, and invite every parishioner to consider a role of service to the parish.
